WE UNDERSTAND THAT IT CAN BE A LITTLE INTIMIDATING to find your way around a new place. To help visitors become familiar with our church, friendly members and staff are on hand to help you find your way around. We look forward to meeting you at one of our gatherings throughout the week!
When are Your Gatherings?
On Sundays, Sycamore View offers worship in our worship center at 8:15 and 11:00 a.m. We also offer Bible classes that meet between 9:45 and 10:45.
What's Worship Like?
The first thing you will probably notice is that there are no instruments. That’s not an accident. We come from a rich heritage of vocal music that emphasizes simplicity, participation and community. Kip Long and our praise team sing a mix of contemporary and traditional songs that lead worshipers to rejoice, reflect and refocus. Most guests are inspired by the blend of harmonies and the sheer volume of hundreds of voices lifted in praise.
What to Wear
On Sunday morning, you will see people dressed in a wide range of attire from jeans to dress clothes. We want everyone to feel at home.
What to Bring
The main thing we’d love for you to bring is an open heart. If you have a Bible, we’d love for you to bring it. If you do not have a Bible, we will help provide you with one. Many of our members also use a free Bible app that can be downloaded here.
Where Will My Kids Go?
Children are important at Sycamore View. You are more than welcome to have your children in our gatherings, but if you would like a “wiggle-free” worship time, our children’s ministry offers its services. We take great pride in caring for your children and we want them to have a wonderful, growing experience each time you bring them.
Communion and Offering
Communion is available each week to all believers in Christ. As a guest, you are not expected to make an offering. Offerings are made by our members as part of their commitment to God and the church.
Bible Classes
Many members participate in worship during one hour and a Bible class the other hour. Whether you are new to the faith or someone with many Bible classes under your belt, there is a class perfect for you. In addition to topical Bible classes, there are classes geared to different age groups such as middle school students, young adults and mature adults.
Where to Park
As a visitor, you are our honored guest. The visitor's parking area is located in front of the main entrance (beside our church sign). Members may park to the side or behind the building.
Need More Information?
On Sunday mornings we encourage you to stop by the hub located just inside the auditorium entrance. Each Sunday morning friendly members and staff are on hand to talk with you and answer any questions you might have about Sycamore View. We look forward to getting to know you!
