Sycamore View is a great place to worship and connect with others. We have every background and life-stage represented. I have lived in Memphis for 46 years and I feel I know the community. My role here at SV is to help people connect to our family and in turn connect our family to the community.

Kip Long, Worship Minister

Kip, his wife Frances, and daughter Kaycee have been a part of the Sycamore View team since October of 2003. He leads our worship gatherings, coordinates the praise team, plans musical events, and produces the Seasons of Worship CDs. He seeks to help people live a life of worship that will attract others to the Lord. He also invests in others to help them discover and use their musical gifts. He is highly involved in our teaching ministry as well as a leader in our LIFE Group ministry.

Jim Hinkle, Youth Minister

Jim began his ministry at Sycamore View in 2005 after completing a decade in youth ministry. He has a passion for the Lord, his family, teenagers, and the Cornhuskers. He and his wife Stacy have four beautiful children who keep their lives from getting boring. Jim loves his ministry because he gets the chance on a daily basis to impact the next generation of Disciples. He loves the SV teens and their caring families. Jim’s got a B.A., M.A.R., and M.Div. in family studies, ministry, and theology.

Keith Fussell, Family Minister

Keith is married to Kim and the father of Josh, Joanna, and Joel. He has been family life minister at Sycamore View since 1993. He is also director of Sycamore View's Christian Counseling Center. Keith's role besides counseling is to provide programs, groups and classes to enrich marriage and family life and to avoid future problems. His hobbies are watching his kids play ball, piano and travel. Keith has masters degrees in religion and counseling from Harding University Graduate School of Religion.

Joe Godley, Church Administrator

Joe Godley has served on the Sycamore View ministry team since October of 1978. During this ministry he has served as an associate minister, youth minister (some 25 years), and in his present position as Church Administrator. Joe is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University (B.S in Theology with minors in Business and Music) and Harding University Graduate School of religion (MAR in Old Testament). Joe and his wife, Cyndy have three children and grandchild. They enjoy snow skiing, camping, backpacking, and watching Memphis Tiger games.
