Our Current Sermon Series

On October 24 from 3:00-4:30pm, we will have our annual Trunk or Treat! This event brings about 1,000 people to our campus, which means we need a LOT of candy! If you are able to donate candy, please drop it in the bin in the lobby. We will also still need people to volunteer to host a trunk, pass out candy, clean up, and more! We have officially begun working through the Bible together during a 30-week series we call “The Story.” We hope you’ve gotten a copy for yourself! Josh will preach through Chapter 4 of “The Story” this week, so be sure to try to read that chapter before Sunday!

New Adult Faith Offering

On Sunday, October 25th Lori Shores will begin a 4-week class in Room 2 on the book “The Church that Makes Room: Understanding Autism, Neurodiversity, and Belonging in the Black Church.” Be sure to purchase the book ahead of time! This is a great opportunity to plug into a class if you haven’t already.

Join church members and ministry leaders from across Memphis for the 2026 Equip for Mission Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 14, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Oliver Creek Church of Christ. This free citywide event is designed to equip, encourage, and connect those who are passionate about serving their communities and helping churches make a greater kingdom impact.

Whether you are currently leading a ministry, serving in your congregation or exploring how God may be calling you to serve in the future, this workshop will provide practical tools, fresh ideas and meaningful connections to help you participate in God's mission in the city. Pearl House Dinner

On Thursday, November 12, we will host the annual Pearl House dinner! The Pearl House exists to empower young women in Ghana - offering HOPE through Healing, Opportunity, Protection, and Education. What began in 2013 under one small roof now surrounds 77 young women - the Pearls - as they step into their God-given identity and purpose and impact their families, their communities, and their nation. The Pearl House is our newest global missions partner, and this is a great opportunity to learn more! Tickets are $50 and table sponsorships are also available. Sign up here.

We are praising God for a special season of growth, serving, and generosity! If you would still like to complete a Commitment Card, click this link. There is one offering box in the worship center designated from Rooted & Reaching contributions. 

Our current three-year pledge amount is $4.4M. We are encouraged to give as much as possible as soon as possible to help with construction costs. We expect to begin construction projects in May or June, and they are expected to last 12-18 months.

French Farm Fest

Everyone is invited to French Farm Fest on Sunday, November 1. French Farm Fest is an afternoon of fun for all ages at the French Family Farm in Arlington where you can go on a hayride, a four-wheeler ride, fish at the pond, hike, play corn hole, or just hangout. Activities begin at 3pm and the bonfire begins at 5pm when we will cook hot dogs, s'mores and enjoy other tasty treats. It is a relaxed time to get to know others at Sycamore View better. Men’s Ministry

The Men's Ministry is hosting Hikes and Hashbrowns on Saturday, October 31. We'll meet at the Wolf River Refuge Trailhead at 7:00 AM to hike, and we'll be at Waffle House on Germantown Parkway around 9:00 AM for breakfast and fellowship. Men of all ages can join for either or both!

Wednesday Night Guys Group
Our Wednesday night Guys Group meets weekly (6:30-7:30). Come join us for an hour of community and sharing life together.
