Outdoor Worship + BrunchNext Sunday, October 24 is going to be a little different than our typical Sunday. Our 8:30am worship service will be the same as every week (and available on all three of our streaming platforms). Our 11am worship service will be outdoors in the back parking lot (near the main offices). This service will not be streamed as usual since we will be outdoors. Also, there will also be no children's worship and no nursery so we can all enjoy our time outside together. Make sure to stick around afterward for a FREE BRUNCH. If you have a camping or lawn chair, make sure to bring it so we can have enough outdoor seating for all who plan to attend. We hope you’ll join us! |

Trunk-or-TreatSycamore View will host our spook-tacular Trunk-or-Treat event on Saturday, October 30 from 2pm – 4pm in front of our campus. This is a safe, family-friendly event where children can collect lots of candy from the trunks of our vehicles or assigned areas. Every year we have over a thousand guests visit our campus for this community event. Plan to bring your family and read through the information below to find out how you can volunteer to help make this special for our neighbors! What’s the plan?So, how does this year’s event differ from last year? This year, we will have all vehicles park in back of our campus. They will enter through the south entrance on Sycamore View Road and exit through the north. Once our guests park, they will walk between the gym and our Adult Faith wing and enter our main lobby. They will proceed through the building (Candy-Land) and into the front where there will be decorated vehicle trunks, candy stations, and a photo booth. How do we help?We need LOTS of volunteers! First off, we need candy stations. This can be in the form of a traditional, decorated trunk (like in years past). You also have the option to set up a pop-up tent or themed station (like we did last year). In addition to candy stations (tents or trunks), we will need volunteers to help with parking, photo booths, and to bring LOTS of candy to pass out to kids in our community. Please click the link below if you plan to participate in either a trunk or tent candy station. We need candy!Say it with me… “WE. NEED. CANDY!” If you can’t participate in a candy station this year, it’s okay. That said, we need all families to bring several bags of candy to donate if they are able. Just look for the big, candy-corn tub in the lobby and drop your bags inside. As of Friday, Oct. 15, we currently have ZERO bags of candy! Scary, huh?! PLEASE BRING ALL. THE. CANDY! (seriously, though…)

Couples Fall HangoutOn Saturday, October 23 Sycamore View’s Marriage Ministry Team will host “It’s a Vibe,” a couples fall hangout from 5pm - 7pm on our church campus (back lawns or gym if raining). There will be a meal, games, and tons of great fellowship. Just bring a lawn chair and good vibes. Childcare is available for $5 per family. 3:16 Global Missions OfferingEvery year, we take up a special collection to help us fund mission efforts in Greece, Panama, Ukraine, and Zambia through our 3:16 Global Missions Offering. This year’s offering will take place on Sunday, Oct. 31. God is doing amazing things through each of these missions locations, but COVID-19 has placed an unprecedented burden on each country. Your gifts will provide food, medicine, education and Bible training to people around the world. Please be prayerful about what you will give to help others see Jesus. Whether your donation is small or large, know that it is desperately needed to continue proclaiming the Word of God to the ends of the earth.

Ladies Bible ClassThe Ladies Bible Study takes place every Tuesday at 9:30am in Room 4. The are currently studying why the first century was "In the Fullness of Time" using biblical and historical evidence. Women of all ages are welcome. Over the last year, many in our church have expressed that their Life Group helped them stay connected during a very difficult year of isolation due to Covid. Children’s Bible ClassesOur full slate of Children’s Bible classes for Sundays and Wednesdays are now open! All ages have drop-off class options on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45am and Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. We also have two staffed nurseries for 2 year olds and under during the 11:00am service as well as Children’s Worship for 3 year olds-Kindergartners in the large group room right before the sermon.
