Tubs & Boxes Due This SundayRed TubsThe goal of Red Tub Day is to provide children in foster care with Christmas gifts that will make them feel loved and valued as well as to provide year-long support for foster and adoptive families. When you take a red tub for a child, we ask you to spend a total of $250 for Christmas. $125 will go for gifts and the rest will go to Memphis Family Connection Center to provide counseling and support for foster and adoptive families. The tubs will be given to the children at a Christmas party in early December. Stop by the Handprints table in the lobby this Sunday to get your red tub or find out how you can help at the Christmas party! All tubs are due back to the church lobby by December 5th. Agape Christmas BoxesAgape Christmas boxes that go to children in the 901 will be available this Sunday. You can participate by picking up a box in the lobby, buying the gifts requested, placing them into the box, wrapping the Agape Box, sticking the provided label onto the package, and returning it to our lobby by Dec. 5. Filling an Agape Christmas Box should cost between $35-$45. If you prefer to shop online and have someone wrap your presents, please contact Debbie Dubree at ddubree31@yahoo.com or 901-574-2675 (text please if possible). A View Into Sycamore ViewIf you’ve recently become a part of our church family, are considering becoming a member, or interested in Sycamore View, please join us this Sunday, Dec. 5 from 9:45am-10:45am in Room 4 . We will explore how to connect with God, other church family members, and opportunities to serve others. Campfire & Christmas CarolsBring the whole family and join us for a starry night around an open fire while we sing Christmas carols. We will have a special appearance from a Bedouin shepherd who will tell of the excitement on the starry night the angel appeared to them while they were tending their sheep. Drinks: Hot chocolate and bottled water will be available Adult Faith: AdventAs we live into our vision of anticipating the movement of God, our Adult Faith classes will be focusing on the season of Advent beginning this Sunday, Nov. 28. Our Intergenerational (Room 100), Emerging Families (Room 1), and Young Professional (Room 2) will explore Advent and celebrate the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. Advent Experience EventOn Sunday, Dec. 19, we are planning on having one bible class offering for children, teens and adults that begins in the Worship Center at 9:45am. This will be a hands-on experience to celebrate the theme of love. Participants will sort donated clothes, send messages to international missionaries, collect food, create crafts, and engage in other opportunities. Two-year-olds and under will be in their regular areas during bible class. Advent: Help Stock the PantryIn conjunction with the events happening on Dec. 19, we are asking everyone to bring at least one item on the list below to help us stock our Daily Bread Pantry:

- Bar soap
- Large size diapers Advent: Bring Food ItemsWE NEED YOUR HELP! All those attending will visit stations that will add to the experience of Advent and we would also like to provide snacks/finger food items for the front foyer. Please deliver your items ready to serve NO LATER THAN 9:30 am on the morning of December 19th to the front foyer. Bible class starts at 9:45am. Winter Clothing DriveThe Compassion Ministry is collecting gently used or new Fall and Winter clothing for our homeless men and women in the area. This includes jackets (no dress coats or formal jackets), fleece clothes, sweatshirts, sweatpants, scarves, knit caps and gloves. We are requesting sizes Medium to X-Large. Monetary donations are also welcome. Please drop off items in the pantry area by Sunday, December 19. Ladies Bible ClassThe Ladies Bible Study that meets every Tuesday at 9:30am in Room 4 has begun a new study on Revelation. Women of all ages are welcome to attend. Life GroupsCommunity is more important than ever in these difficult times. Over the last year, many in our church have expressed that their Life Group helped them stay connected during a very difficult year of isolation due to Covid.
