Holy Spirit Music Playlist

In our current sermon series, “Poured Out: In Need of the Person, Presence, Promise, and Power of The Holy Spirit,” Josh is leading us through a seven-month journey, broken up into five parts. Baptism Sunday

April 26th is a Baptism Sunday. Of course, we will baptize people anytime they feel led by God, but for some people, it is helpful for them to circle a date on a calendar and to work toward it. Please join us in praying for God to surprise us in great ways on April 26th!

“Isn’t it 901 Offering Season?”

You probably remember our leaders made a decision to fold our 901 and 3:16 offerings into the regular weekly offering this year. This doesn’t mean a diminished commitment to our 901 and international mission partners, in fact, we budgeted an increase in this area. From a practical standpoint, it means that we are attempting to highlight 901/3:16 efforts on a regular basis throughout the year. It also means that we are asking people who usually give specifically to these offerings to increase their giving to the weekly offering since the weekly offering is supporting this mission efforts. 

Agapefest

Agape Child and Family Services is one of our long-time partnerships. Join Agape Memphis for Agape Fest, a free, family-friendly celebration that brings our city together for an afternoon of connection, fun and community. Sycamore View is proud to sponsor Agapefest!

HopeWorks Breakfast

Support HopeWorks, one of our strategic partners, by sponsoring a table at their annual breakfast on April 25th!

Senior Sunday

Join us in celebrating our high school seniors on Sunday, May 3rd! If you’d life to help prepare them for their next chapter with a gift, you can bring those by that Sunday morning. Tables will be set up in the front lobby. Here is a list of our graduating seniors:

Wednesday Night Guys Group
Our Wednesday night Guys Group meets weekly (6:30-7:30). Come join us for an hour of community and sharing life together. This week, we will go to the Upper Room worship night in the MPAC.

Golf Scramble - May 16

Please join us for a round of golf at Orgill Golf Course. Our Tee Times will be a shotgun start (17, 18, 1) early Saturday morning (7:30 AM). We will form teams based on your responses to the questions in the sign-up. If you are bringing a friend or want to play with a family member, just notify me in the last question. (NOTE: We have room for 20 people)

Greens Fees at Orgill are $42 per 18 holes. This includes a cart. When the round is complete, we will possibly do lunch afterward for some time together (TBD).

Marriage Ministry

• Crockpot Trivia Night // April 24

Join our Marriage Ministry on April 24th from 6-8pm in Room 100 for a crockpot trivia night! Please bring your favorite crockpot dish to share with others. We will be forming teams of couples and competing in a trivia contest. Prizes will be given to the Top Team! The Marriage Ministry will be providing drinks. Please sign up here!
