HOSPITALS:

Jeanene Wingett, Room 5418, mother of Jim Wingett, currently in hospital due to some heart issues including elevated heart protein levels; blood pressure and potassium levels are getting closer to normal; stress test and echocardiogram came back with no real concerns, but still very nauseous and unable to eat much; last night her blood pressure kicked back up, so probably will not be released until that is under control; requests prayers for improved health and healing.

Carole Warbritton, Room 303 South, was admitted to hospital Tuesday evening, September 9th, and being treated for dehydration; requests prayers for minimal pain and a quick recovery.

Kaitlyn Gingery, Room 426 Pavilion, gave birth to baby girl Collins Tuesday morning, September 9th.

Marsha Spears, Room 4107, sister of Dennis Spears, dealing with GI and kidney issues; requests prayers for minimal pain and complete healing.

CONGRATULATIONS ARE EXTENDED TO:  

Parker and Kaitlyn Gingery in the birth of their daughter, Collins Layne Gingery, on Tuesday, September 9th. Collins weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz.

Caleb and Serena Williams in the birth of their son, Hayden Hampton Williams, on Wednesday, September 3rd. Hayden weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. Congratulations also to the grandparents, Robert and Carla Williams.

SYMPATHY IS EXTENDED TO:  

Kevin South and Family in the death of his brother-in-law, Mark Hicks, on Wednesday, August 28th, due to pancreatic cancer; prayers are also requested for Mark’s wife, Kristi; a Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, September 6th, at Germantown Church of Christ, 8723 Poplar Pike, Germantown, TN 38138.

Russ Nixon and Family in the death of his older half brother, Michael Paul Nixon, on Tuesday, August 27th, after being in hospice care in Houston, TX; prayers are requested for strength and comfort for his wife, Cheryl, and their daughters, Ryann and Chayne, and also prayers for the grandkids and for his other brothers, Mark, Tim, and Glenn; funeral services were Friday, September 5th, in the Houston, TX area.

SHOWER SCHEDULED FOR:  

Wedding Shower honoring Anna Grace Hinkle and Tyler Milligan is scheduled for Sunday, September 14th, from 2:00 - 3:30 pm in the Front Lobby at Sycamore View Church. They are registered at Amazon, Target, and Anthropologie.  

PRAYERS REQUESTED:  

Carol Weiner, after several weeks, is no longer wearing a heart monitor; is scheduled for a nuclear heart test in October; requests prayers for peace and good test results.

Gerald Johnson, continuing to improve as he recovers from a procedure to have a shunt put in his brain several weeks ago; requests prayers for a quick and complete recovery.

Jerry Buxton, results of CT scan on Monday, September 8th, came back negative; doctors are continuing to search for causes of his health issues; requests prayers for complete healing.

Bobby Nations, began blood thinners on Wednesday, September 10th, regarding an aneurysm that was found when in hospital for stroke; procedure is scheduled for Thursday, September 18th, at Methodist University, where doctors will then decide on one of two procedures, both of which are high risk; if any complications occur, it will most likely be during the procedure or within 48 hours so will be monitored in ICU during that time; after that, recovery should be minimal with checkup 6 months later.

John Johnson, brother of Kim Chapman, is now at home following a diagnosis of kidney issues at the VA Hospital; is scheduled to return to hospital on Monday, September 15th, to prepare for dialysis; requests continued prayers for peace, strength, comfort, and complete healing.

Debi Rauchle, scheduled to see a hematologist at West Clinic on Tuesday, October 14th, due to blood clots which were discovered in her right lung from X-rays of her hip that were originally taken due to a fall while in Florida; currently on blood thinners; prayers for strength and complete healing.  

Leslie Whiteside, requests prayers that God will help her think of what to say or do to encourage and persuade her son and his family to attend worship with her; also requests prayers for rain both locally and in Kentucky.

Paul Foree, has been discharged from St. Francis Hospital and moved to The Village in Germantown; continues to deal with some swelling issues that are affecting his breathing; requests prayers for strength, comfort, and healing for Paul and also prayers for his wife, Doris.

Jamie Sowell, continuing her radiation treatments through middle of next week; requests prayers for herself and her family as they undergo this stage of her health care as a family.

Sharon Fieldor, former member of Sycamore View, fell recently and broke her shoulder and hip; is a current resident of Kirby Pines and is now on hospice care in the nursing home part of Kirby Pines.
