HELP US SOW KINGDOM SEEDS!

In October, we will host our 3:16 Global Missions Offering. Our donations will help Greece, Panama, Ukraine, and Zambia. Though each country has been significantly impacted by COVID and economic decline over the last few years, our partners in these countries have stories of salvation, generosity, growth, and equipping. There is nothing that can keep our God from working wonders!

On Sunday, October 29, is our 3:16 Global Missions Offering. Whether your financial gift is small or large, know that it will be used to proclaim the good news of Jesus throughout the world. Please join us in this effort. You can bring cash or a check, or you can give online by clicking the button below.

WATCH THE LATEST VIDEO UPDATES FROM OUR MISSIONARIES

We are so grateful to be able to communicate with each of our missionaries this season. There is a lot going on in each of their ministries, so please take a moment to watch the videos below to hear an update about each mission location.

SOWING THE SEEDS OF THE KINGDOM

We are called by God to help sow the seeds of the Kingdom and engage in mission efforts that help people see Jesus. Though that mission begins right here in Memphis, it also extends to the ends of the earth because God has called us to make disciples of all nations.

Sycamore View is involved in mission efforts around the world including Greece, Panama, Ukraine, and Zambia. God is doing great things through each of these locations including sharing the gospel, feeding the hungry, caring for orphans, providing medical assistance, and training followers to spread the message of Jesus.

Check out the map below to see each of our missions locations.

PANAMA OESTE

Sycamore View supports the work of Gonzalo and Mayra Salinas in Oeste, Panama. We first met the Salinas family several years ago when Gonzalo was the preaching minister for the Iglesia de Cristo, a Spanish-speaking church, that met at our church building for many years. Now he ministers to a growing church just west of Panama City. Over the last few years, this church has tripled in size and continues to grow as they minister to youth, host marriage seminars, lead Bible studies, and planting new churches. The Sycamore View Youth Group sends volunteers to work with and encourage these brothers and sisters in Panama each summer.

Sycamore View also supports the work of Dema and Julia Grischuk in Kiev, Ukraine. Dema is a graduate and employee of the Ukrainian Bible Institute (UBI) which provides Christian education and Bible training. After the recent conflicts in eastern Ukraine, his family was displaced from Donetsk to Kiev. Dema helped found the Let’s Love organization which helps provide youth clubs, support for orphans, Bible studies, humanitarian aid, Christian summer camps, and is actively planting churches.
